I have decided it is time to say goodbye to some of the original Gabriel pieces I’ve made over the years, i have healed my boy and its time to update the pieces of him i have on display.
So first to go was the Gabriel doll repaint, it was a decent first attempt, but not only was he sporting the wounded original design, but he was, admittedly, the victim of a lumpy paint job. The next time i try doll repainting, i shall be more patient and do it the proper way.
Next – and this one was painful, was the bear.
Shock, horror!
This was a difficult one for me since ill do almost anything to cling on to my university experience and of course the Gabriel bear was the main in the beastie group. He is also the only remaining beastie bear from my final show still in my possession.
But in an odd sort of way, seeing all the broken, bruised Gabriel’s on my shelf was making me quite sad, so a new green bear has been procured, along with some clothes that are ready to be customised and his brand new face has been sculpted.

I also plan on updating my axel bear, making him cutesy but I haven’t re-sculpted his face yet.
Admittedly, I’ve been incredibly preoccupied with Halloween preparations, attempting to do all my looks and edits before my tattoo on Wednesday, a goal I’m slowly realising may be a little ambitious but we’ll see how it goes.
I’m thinking if I can manage to do one tonight, one tomorrow and two Saturday and Sunday then one more Monday and Tuesday then technically i could do it, but we shall see how I’m feeling.
